Some moments mark a before and an after.
For us at Stiefeld, our first time attending WESA as an official member was exactly that.
Being part of the Western & English Sales Association (WESA) is an honor on its own. But showing up as a brand, as a family, and as artisans committed to the western industry made this experience truly unforgettable.
Becoming Part of the WESA Community
WESA represents more than a trade show. It represents tradition, craftsmanship, and the future of the western industry. Becoming an official member felt like a milestone that validated years of work, learning, and belief in what we’re building at Stiefeld.
Walking into WESA for the first time as a brand was both exciting and humbling. We were surrounded by people who share the same respect for quality, heritage, and relationships that last longer than a season.
Stiefeld, as a Family
This experience was even more special because we didn’t go alone.
We attended WESA as a family, alongside our daughter Nadine, who quickly became the most attentive and well-behaved little presence at the show. Watching her move through this space with curiosity and calm reminded us why we do what we do. Stiefeld has always been about building something meaningful, not just for today, but for the future.
We were also joined by Lindden King from Canada, which made the experience even richer. Sharing ideas, conversations, and time together strengthened a relationship rooted in mutual respect and a shared vision for modern western style.
From Online Connections to Real Conversations
One of the most powerful parts of WESA was finally meeting people we had only known through emails, messages, and screens.
Shaking hands, sharing stories, and putting faces to names turned digital connections into real relationships. We also met many new faces, conversations that felt like the beginning of something long-term and beautiful. These moments reminded us that this industry is built on trust, presence, and human connection.
Introducing New Designs at WESA
WESA also gave us the opportunity to present new Stiefeld designs, including one that instantly stood out.
The Dustin Moc Toe Chelsea Boot made its debut and quickly became an immediate success. The response confirmed what we believe deeply: western design can evolve while staying true to its roots. Seeing buyers connect with this new silhouette was one of the most rewarding moments of the show.
Looking Ahead with Gratitude
Our first WESA was not just about showcasing boots. It was about belonging, growth, and community. We left feeling grateful, inspired, and more committed than ever to honoring craftsmanship, relationships, and the values that define Stiefeld.
To everyone we met, reconnected with, and shared this moment with: thank you. This was only the beginning.
