The Dakota hair on, tall cowboy boots in rare tricolor cowhide are simply GORGEOUS!!! They are very beautiful rich shades of brown and black against a cream/white background, with contrasting buckskin leather pull tabs (complete with the signature Stiefeld antique logo buttons).
I ordered size 10 and these fit perfectly. I have a wide foot with high instep; they are a bit difficult to get on, but once in, my feet are comfortable with a bit of extra room.
With wear, they will become much easier to get on.
Both the outside and inside boot boxes were beaten up quite badly with shipping (No fault of Stiefeld; the boots arrived in perfect condition, just the boxes took the beating.
I always keep the box to store my
cowboy boots in, but this one was
too damaged and I am keeping the
Dakotas in the black cotton Stiefeld
dustbag.

The Loretta is a truly stunning, natural hair on 'pony print' cowgirl ankle boot.
I sized up to 10.5, one half size, to accommodate my wide foot, high instep and bone
spur (on top of my feet from the
stress of many athletic sports)
The beautiful hide on mine is light brown shorthair appaloosa spots on a cream backgrpund.
The Loretta is more difficult to slip my foot into than the Carmen.
I do wish the zipper extended another 2 inches down to the sole, which would solve my instep struggle.
The toe box and above ankle shaft fit perfectly, once my foot is in.
The pull on tabs are brown smooth grain leather, adorned with the Stiefeld logo engraved antique brass buttons.

The Carmen hair on cowgirl boots just arrived.
OMG, OMG; they are one of the prettiest pair of cowboy boots I have ever seen!! I am no stranger to cowboy boots, have test driven many and own pairs from different brands.
The natural jet black/off white hair on 'pony print,' hide is absolutely stunning, glossy, short hair, with the fur going in the direction of the toes.
The panels are so artistically and eye pleasingly pieced together, with classic stitching and leather piping.
The contrasting exotic leather pull tabs (mine have an embossed ocelot print) are adorned with pewter buttons which are engraved with the Stiefeld logo.
I am 5' 7", wear size 10 and ordered 10.5, as my feet are wide (not long) and I have a high instep.
Initially, the Carmens were a challenge to get into, (I used a bit of baby powder which does the trick), however, once in, the toe box is roomy and comfortable with padded arch support. The 11" mid calf shaft is the perfect flattering height and width; the snip toe adds to this classic and gorgeous boot.
The excitement of unwrapping these cowgirl beauties does not end there!
A beautiful little wooden brush with soft, natural boar bristles to gently brush the hide, (this is a brilliant touch) is tucked along with a black cotton, printed with gold Stiefeld letters, travel dust bag, in the pretty
black boot box.
The bottom line here, is Stiefeld produces extremely high quality, unique and beautiful products for modest pricing. This is a very kind company with a rare personal touch and I will keep coming back..

The Charlotte is a truly gorgeous and unique little jacket.
The hair on panels are stunning with their natural black/white 'pony print' markings. The long, swinging cognac suede fringe contrasts with the soft espresso brown leather sleeves, collar and yoke.
I am 5'7", with 34C bust, 29" waist and chose size small. The jacket is cropped, hits @ the natural waist and the front is longer than the back which is more cropped.
The sleeves are roomy and a perfect length, mid hand. The shoulders have a flattering puff and fit exactly where they should. Doing up the snaps, is a challenge, making the jacket extremely fitted. Were I to order up to size medium, it would probably fit too big on me, as I have an hour glass shape.
I am going to add a couple long suede ties embellished with large hole pony beads and pewter horse charms to do the jacket up to the desired tightness.
The Charlotte fringe jacket is a very beautiful, high quality, well made and flattering piece which will never go out of style
I feel it fits true to size, is fitted, not relaxed and if you prefer thicker layers underneath, maybe go up a size.

These are my second pair of Stiefeld boots. I was just as happy with this pair as I was the first pair! They have never hurt my feet, are comfortable to wear for a whole day or even more than one day, and they are unique! I love my first two pairs so much that I bought a third pair, and I love them too. I had an issue with the insole on the third pair so I contacted customer service who promptly responded and worked with me in fixing the issue.
